Center Street Assemblage → Rose’s Village
Two neighboring historic duplexes acquired, renovated, and brought together as Rose’s Village — four furnished stays operating under one locally run hospitality brand.
Strategy
Slingshot assembled 816 & 826 E Center Street, renovated both properties, and created Rose’s Village — turning underused residential real estate into a small, cohesive collection of furnished stays.
Case study
Before, transformation, result
Before acquisition
- Two neighboring historic duplexes on Center Street
- Underutilized residential assets
- A ~0.6-acre assemblage in a walkable neighborhood near downtown and Mayo Clinic
Transformation
- Acquisition of both adjacent duplexes
- Full renovation, furnishing, and exterior/property improvements
- Branding, direct-booking infrastructure, and professional hospitality operations
- Four furnished stays brought together under one name — Rose’s Village
Result
Four furnished stays now operating together as Rose’s Village.
Because the homes sit next to one another, couples, families, professionals, Mayo visitors, and larger groups can stay close together while keeping separate accommodations — something four unrelated rentals could never offer.
The launch completes the initial Center Street repositioning and establishes Slingshot’s hospitality platform.
