Why Slingshot exists.
We started Slingshot to own real estate the way it should be owned — by people who are actually there.
Too much real estate is owned by people who are never there. We wanted to do the opposite — own buildings we’re close to, operate them ourselves, and be responsible for how they run day to day.
So we keep it simple. We buy properties we can genuinely improve, we handle leasing and management directly, and we stay involved long after the deal closes. When something breaks, we fix it. When a tenant calls, we answer.
We’re based in Rochester. We own here, we operate here, and we plan to be here for a long time.
